Mark horizontal height line on wall, mount L‑shape corner trim along the line.
Install suspension rods, main runner and cross furring. Max spacing of cross furring: 30‑40 cm, cross furring must be perpendicular to panel length.
Insert the first panel into L‑trim. Leave 3‑5mm expansion gap between panel end and wall for thermal expansion. Screw on the groove side only, do NOT screw on visible surface.
Interlock next panel’s tongue into previous groove, tap gently with rubber mallet. Fix each panel with screws every 40‑50 cm.
Cut the last panel to fit remaining width and slide into corner trim.
Cut holes for lights or exhaust fan after panels installed. Light / exhaust fan weight must be supported by metal furring, NOT PVC panel itself.

A: Yes, it is water‑proof, moisture‑proof and anti‑mildew, ideal for indoor bathroom and kitchen. Keep 15cm distance from heat source such as heater lamp. Not for direct outdoor sun exposure.
Q2: Will PVC ceiling warp or bulge?
A: Proper installation avoids deformation. Leave 3‑5 mm expansion gap against wall, do not over‑tighten screws, cross furring spacing within 30‑40 cm. Low‑quality board with high calcium carbonate content tends to sag.
Q3: Is PVC ceiling fire‑retardant?
A: Qualified PVC ceiling is self‑extinguishing, oxygen index ≥30. It will stop burning once away from open fire. It is not classified as fire‑proof ceiling. Test report is available.
Q4: Does PVC ceiling contain lead? Is it eco‑friendly?
A: Export‑grade products adopt lead‑free Ca‑Zn stabilizer, compliant with SONCAP, CE. Some cheap recycled‑material goods may contain lead, please ask for test certificate.
Q5: Can I glue PVC panels directly onto old ceiling?
A: No. Panels must be mounted on furring frame by screws, glue‑on installation is forbidden.
Q6: How to repair damaged panel? Need remove whole ceiling?
A: No need to take down all panels. Remove corner trim from end side, replace only the broken single panel. Easy maintenance.
Q7: Can PVC ceiling be used outdoor?
A: Standard indoor version cannot be used under direct sunlight, UV will cause yellowing & brittleness. Special UV‑resistant grade is available for eave shelter.
